MEDINA FIGHTERS SOURCE

Fighters Source is dedicated to helping amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters accomplish their dreams of athletic achievement. The organization promotes amateur MMA as a sport requiring high level performance in a wide range of martial arts from striking to kicking to grappling and judo.

Fighters Source’s founders, Anthony Medina and Kevin Medina, jujitsu master fighters themselves, know the obstacles young men and women face in establishing themselves as fighters. They have created, along with their other brother Brandon Medina and very close friend Adam Meyers, an organization that provides young fighters with the experience, resources, discipline and opportunity to successfully compete against other top international amateur teams at the highest level.

The Event

Fighters Source has put together a team of 10 men and 1 woman to fight in Boras, Sweden on September 22, 2012. This world championship amateur event features Team USA versus Team Sweden. Team USA was recruited from all over Florida, a State with a very large number of very skilled amateur fighters, after a series of elimination matches. The team members listed below represents the winners of those elimination matches and they are some of the best amateur competitors in the country.
Team USA Roster: Corey Wingo, Delaney Owen, Jaron Millan, Jason Leon, Joshua Aaron Woods, Matthew Cowley, Michael Kuryla, Orlando Friol, Richard Wint, Thiago Domingues, Tyler J Phillips and Yvon Agenord.
